The Use of Technology in the Health Care Profession

Technology is being used every day, whether it is in a hospital, or office every person has used or will use some form of technology at least once in their life time. With the help of technology nurses and other health care professionals are able to record, research, and compare patient’s records, diagnosis’ and symptoms. And with technology, it is helping nurses, and health care professionals to overcome communication barriers in health care. Nurse’s are able to use online translators, where they can write out what they are saying, or say it, and the translator will communicate back to the patient, in their own language. It is being used to replace paper work, making charts easier to access. And with this technology, who knows what the future of health care will bring.

First Blog!

Hey there I’m Lauren, welcome to my new blog post. I grew up in a small town, where I knew of more barn animals then people. And high speed internet is for the “rich” people in town. So blogging is pretty interesting for a small farm girl. Right now I am currently at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology for nursing. Creating a blog has never even came across my mind, but now that I have been introduced to blogging, I find myself looking through websites to read over other peoples blogs. My interests are skiing, softball and anything to do with children or animals. So after today, I will be posting more blogs, and I really look forward to reading your comments.
Thanks for sharing.
